This spot between Newport and Market Drayton (and about 10 minutes’ drive from each) is a handy one for getting out and about: it’s only a short way off the A41 and within easy reach of all sorts of places for days out. That might be city days in Birmingham and Chester, soaking up the history in Ironbridge or heading out to hike the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty…

Things are kept pretty simple in the camping area, but guests have access to drinking water and wifi, and there’s access to pub toilets throughout the day and night so you won’t be caught short.
